I hate when people bitch about the rain. You live in NORTH DAKOTA, take it when you can get it. Yeah yeah, during the floods and stuff I can understand not wanting more rain, but last I checked Dickinson didn't have shit for flooding. I like it, because every other summer is brown instead of green. It's rained a lot this year and it really makes me want to go out and shoot some more photos. It's been too long. Part of the problem is my damn camera though, it's been chewed on by dogs, attacked by cats, dropped, left in my hot car, etc... but it still works perfectly. The problem is how fast it goes through batteries. I've spent enough on batteries for the few times I've actually put it to good use to pay for a whole other camera. I'm planning on checking out what Wal Mart has for cameras now though, I got mine a couple years ago, there should be some pretty good choices out there by now. I wish there was a way to tell how hard a camera was on batteries when you look at the package though... but an upgrade is definitely needed.

I should also look around for some good new areas to take pictures, there's gotta be plenty of them around, I see them driving around, but I never remember them later when I can actually stop. Maybe one Friday or Saturday soon. I'd love to get some pictures when things are this green.
